     ☆I would like to fill the assistant buyer's position.我希望承担助理采购的职位。
     ☆I can do well in a more responsible position.我能够胜任责任更大的岗位。
     ☆I'm not just making a request for my own interest,but making an offer for the good of the company.我不仅仅为了自己的利益提出要求,也是为公司着想。
     ☆When will it be a better time?何时适宜?
     ☆When will it be appropriate to have this discussion?何时适宜讨论此事?
     ☆The management has always been considerate about the career development of the employees,hasn't it?管理层不是向来为员工的职业发展着想吗?
     ☆Let me put it this way:I don't think you are ready for a promotion yet.这样说吧,我认为你还没有为升职做好准备。
     ☆Can't my accomplishments prove my ability?难道我的业绩不能证明我的能力吗?

     B:Well.I've worked here for a year,and I'd like to have a chance of advancement.
     A:What job are you applying for?
     B:I'd like a secretarial job in the clerical department.
     A:Is your English good enough?
     B:I hope so.I'm studying English at a language school.
     A:你好,我能帮你什么?

     A:You're welcome.
     B:What an honor this is!
     A:We have quite a bit of confidence in you.
     B:That means a lot to me.

     A:I have been working as an accountant assistant for a year.I'd like to ask for a chance of advancement.
     B:What's on your mind?
     A:I suppose I could work as a staff accountant in our firm and I'm doing the job indeed,since Mary left last month.
     B:Good,I don't think you will be disappointed.Congratulations.
     A:Thank you very much.I'll make the best effort.
     B:All right.Hope you make better use of your potential in the new position.
     A:早上好,先生。
     B:早上好。有什么事么?
     A:我在公司做助理会计师已经一年了,我想升职。

     B:Let me put it this way:I don't think you are ready for a promotion yet.
     A:Can't my accomplishments prove my ability?
     B:To be perfectly frank with you,we're planning to fill the vacant position you're after with somebody from the outside.

     B:You know,Mr.Smith,Ms.Jones is going to give birth.She'll quit in a month.I suppose I could take her place as a secretary in the clerical department.
     A:Sounds reasonable.Do you know the duties of a secretary?
     B:I think so.I've talked about the job with Ms.Jones.The job is concerned with typing,filing,arranging regular meetings,or something else.Now I'm taking a secretarial course in a night school.I think my training and enthusiasm can put me in with the chance.
     A:Yes.Opportunities are for those well-prepared.Good luck.
     B:Thank you very much,Mr.Smith.I will try my best.
     A:早上好,琳达。
