芭堤雅 Pattaya
泰国新兴的海滨旅游度假胜地,有“东方的夏威夷”之称。位于曼谷东154公里处。这里风光旖旎,气候宜人,终年气温都在20℃左右。海滩长达10多公里.是良好的海滨游泳场。附近的珊瑚岛也是芭堤雅的一个重要游览区。
Pattaya,which is given the title of the Oriental Hawaii,is a new built seashore resort for holidays. It lies 154km east to Bangkok. The natural scenery is perfect and the climate here is ideal. It is about 20℃ all the year around. The 10 km long beach makes it a wonderful natatorium. The coral isle nearby is another famous spot for tourists.
北榄鳄鱼湖动物园 Crocodile Farm &Zoo Samatpraka
世界最大的鳄鱼养殖场。园内有一个类似体育馆式的建筑,这就是举世闻名的鳄鱼表演场,可以容纳1,000多人。
It is the largest crocodile farm in the world. The building for the crocodile performance is something like a gymnasium which can hold some 1,000people.

Ayuthaya,86km north of Bangkok,was the capital of Thai from 1350,and 33 kings of various Siamese dynasties reigned here until the city was conquered by the Burmese in 1767.The old capital was,by all accounts,a splendid city which was courted by Dutch,Portuguese,French,English,Chinese and Japanese merchants. By the end of the 17th century,Ayuthaya’s population had reached one million and virtually all visiting foreigners claimed it to be the most illustrious city they had ever seen.Ayuthaya’s scattered temples and ruins have been declared a World Heritage Site.

Nakhon Pathom,60km west of Bangkok,is regarded as the oldest city in Thailand and is host to the 127m,orange-tiled Phra Pathom Chedi,the tallest Buddhist monument in the world. The original monument,buried within the massive orange-glazed dome,was erected in the 6th century by Theravada Buddhists.

Bangkok is the capital of Thailand. Its full name in Latin has 142 letters which make it the longest city name in the world. Bangkok has dominated Thailand’s urban hierarchy since the late 18th century,as well as its political,commercial and cultural life.Rivers and channels intersect with one another. Sometimes it is called the Oriental Venice. Bangkok is the shopping paradise in Southeast Asia and all kinds of goods from all over the world can be found here. China Town is the biggest and busiest portion. There are almost 300 wats or temples and many other tourist spots in Bangkok.
清迈 Chiang Mai

Thailand’s second-largest city and the gateway to the country’s north was founded in 1296. You can still see the moat that encircled the original city.There are 300 wats in it. Many visitors choose to get around the city by bicycle. It’s well-known for its restaurants and also has heaps of good guesthouses. Compared to Bangkok,Chiang Mai’s evenings are cool and conducive to moseying around the central Night Bazaar. Chiang Mai is also a good base for mountain treks. Just about every guesthouse advertises treks to visit the hill tribes who live in the surrounding area. This part of Thailand is considerably overtrekked and some hill-tribe villages have been turned into little more than human zoos.
