印度巴士事故，11死

A MINIBUS carrying students to a picnic fell into a gorge along a Himalayan road in Indian-controlled Kashmir yesterday, killing at least 11 and injuring seven others, officials said.

印度官员表示，昨日(6-27)，一辆载有参加野餐学生的面包车，在印控克什米尔一条喜马拉雅环山公路上不慎坠崖，造成至少11人死亡，7人受伤。

The bus slipped off the road as its driver negotiated a curve near Shopian town, said civil administrator Mohammed Saleem Malik.

据市政官员穆罕默德·萨利姆·马利克介绍，这辆巴士在斯皮亚镇附近转弯时，滑出了路面。

He said the students attended a private computer center. The injured students were hospitalized and two were in critical condition.

他说，这些学生就读于一家私人电脑中心。受伤的学生被送往医院，其中两人伤势严重。

Another official said the bus was speeding at the time of the accident.

另一名官员表示，事故发生时巴士车超速行驶。
