The stations far and nigh
短长亭，
Show griefs new and gone by.
古今情，
A halo encircles the cold moon over the bower;
楼外凉蟾一晕生，
Autumn seems clearer after a shower.
雨余秋更清。
At dusk clouds barring the sky
暮云平，
Hang as low as mountains high.
暮山横，
Rustling autumn leaves and wild geese sing sad and drear;
几叶秋声和雁声，
But the roamer won’t hear.
行人不要听。
