大部分人写E-mail时，速度飞快，最后很爽快地就按下“send”键，无形中错误百出。请从今天起，开始养成检查的好习惯；因为即使是很简短的文句，都可能不经意间就出错！
1 我们期待听到您的回音。

（○ ）We are looking forward to hearing from you.
这句话在E-mail文末最常出现，look forward to是“期待”之意，其中的to是介词，后面须接动名词或名词。
2 谢谢您给我们的好建议。
（×）Thank you for all the good advices you have given here.
（○ ）Thank you for all the good advice you have given here.
advice是“忠告、建议”，是不可数名词，不管有多少忠告，都是advice，不加s。
3 7月22日举办的那场会议，讨论了为顾客开立发票的新程序。
（×）Meeting was held on July 22 to discuss new procedures for invoicing customers.
（○ ）A / The meeting was held on July 22 to discuss new procedures for invoicing customers.
meeting是可数名词，前面须加冠词，有限定时加the，没有限定时加a。
4 根据我们最近的讨论，我想要为您示范这个新的机型。
（×）With refer to our recent discussion, I would like to demonstrate this new model for you.
（○ ）With reference to our recent discussion, I would like to demonstrate this new model for you.
with是介词，后面须接名词，所以refer须更正为reference。
5 那些外国工人拥有生产我们产品所需的专业技能吗？
（×）Do those foreign workers have the necessary experience to produce our products?
（○ ）Do those foreign workers have the necessary expertise to produce our products?
“专门技术”的英文是expertise；experience指的是“经验”，两者请勿混淆。
