火车穿过墓园大门，
一只鸟张开歌喉，
啼啭，颤抖，高唱
直至响彻整个墓地；
之后它轻调曲调，
微微颔首，又唱起来。
毫无疑问，他认为此次会面
是为了向人们道别。
A train went through a burial gate,
A bird broke forth and sang,
And trilled, and quivered, and shook his throat
Till all the churchyard rang;
And then adjusted his little notes,
