542　pleased，pleasing和pleasant

① pleased表示“高兴的，满意的，感到高兴的”，指由外部因素引发人们内心的喜悦，只能指人，主语是人。

I am pleased to meet you. 遇见你我很高兴。

I am pleased that you've won the match. 你们赢了那场比赛，我非常高兴。

② be pleased by侧重于“被动”。

They were pleased by what she said. 听了她的话，他们非常满意。

He was easily pleased by flattery. 他经不起奉承。

③ be pleased at/about/with意为“对……感到满意（高兴）”，宾语为人时，常用with，宾语为事物时，可用at，about或with，意义相同。

The manager is very pleased with you. 经理对你非常满意。

He wasn't very pleased at/about/with the result. 他对结果不是很满意。
