A：I'm thinking of Beijing.

B：But we have been there last year.

A：But we haven't seen all the places of interest there.

B：That's true.

A：Let's make plans for it.

A：你不觉得路程太远了吗?

A：我一直在考虑去北京。

B：但我们去年去过了啊。

A：但我们并没有去过所有的景点啊。

A：When are you going to take your year's vacation?

B：I've got a ten-day vacation starting from July 25th.

A：Where are you going?

B：Hawaii.

A：That sounds like a good place. Is your whole family going?

B：Yes. We plan to hike the mountains, go fishing, wind surf, but most of all, relax. My wife is taking a whole pile of books to read.

A：Your children must be all excited about it.

B：Yes, they are. They're already crossing out the days on the calendar. Are you going to Europe again this summer?

A：No, not this time. We're going to visit some old friends in New York.

B：Are you driving or taking a train?

A：Driving. We'll need a car there.

A：你打算什么时候休年假?

B：从7月25日起，我有10天的假。

A：你要去哪里度假?

B：夏威夷。

A：这地方很不错。你们全家人都要去吗?

B：是的。我们计划去爬山、钓鱼、玩风浪板，但最主要是为了放松一下。我太太要带一大堆书去看。

A：不，这次不去了。我们打算去纽约看看老朋友。

B：你开车去还是坐火车去?

A：开车去。在那边我们会用到车子的。

B：Yes, the vacation is coming soon! Where do you intend to spend it, Angela?

A：I don't know. Maybe I'll stay together with my parents.

B：Don't you want to go out? You know I've got a new car.

A：Please don't brag about your new car! You are so great, OK?

B：What do you mean by that? I invited you just because I view you as my friend.

A：I'm sorry, I misunderstood you. Thank you for sharing everything with me.

B：That's OK. How about traveling around with me?

A：Where do you want to go?

B：How about Sanya? There we can visit the "End of The Earth".

A：I know it's a famous coast resort. But is it too far away?

B：Just think about the palm trees, sunshine, beach and blue waves... Don't miss the chance!

A：OK, I'll go with you. But I just want to enjoy the clean air there.

B：I'm sure you will like it! It'll be a nice place away from the crowded and polluted city.

A：没有压力，没有工作，也不用操心，只有纯粹的欢乐!

B：是啊，假期终于来了!安吉拉，你打算去哪儿玩呢?

A：不知道呢。可能会待在家里陪父母。

B：你不想出去玩玩吗?你知道的，我买了辆新车。

A：请别再显摆你的车了!你真的很了不起，行了吧?

B：你这么说是什么意思?正是因为视你为朋友，我才邀请你的。

A：对不起，是我误解你了。谢谢你和我分享这一切。

B：没事儿。那和我一起旅游去怎么样?

A：你打算去哪儿?

B：三亚怎么样?我们可以去那参观“天涯海角”。

A：我知道那是一个著名的海滨胜地。但我们到那里是不是太远了点?

B：想想那椰树、阳光、海滩、碧浪……别错过好机会!

A：好吧，那我陪你去。不过我只想去那呼吸下新鲜空气而已。

B：我保证你会喜欢的!相比人群拥堵、污染严重的城市，这可是个不赖的去处!

A：Where do you intend to spend your vacation this year, Mabel?

B：I'll spend my vacation at the seashore as usual.

A：Why do you choose the seashore?

B：I like swimming, you know. Where do you want to go for your summer vacation this year?

A：I'll go to Beijing, as I did last year.

B：Why so?

A：It seems to me I can never tire of historical sites. They are attractive in all kinds of weather, and at all times of the day.

B：That sounds very interesting! Well, I've changed my mind. I'll go to Beijing this year for a change.

A：梅布尔，今年你打算去什么地方度假?

B：I'd be glad to. What kind of tour do you prefer?

A：I'd like a boat trip.

B：Well, we'll have a boat trip starting next week, and you don't have to worry about accommodation and meals.

A：That sounds nice.

B：So, what's the schedule?

A：It's two nights in the boat, but three days altogether.

B：I see.

A：There would be plenty of time for shopping and sightseeing.

B：I think that'll work out fine. I hope I'll be able to sleep in the boat.

A：我喜欢乘船游览。

B：我觉得这样安排挺不错的。我希望能够在船上睡一觉。
