#1.Adulting

大家都知道adult是成年人的意思。

但是这个词现在被美国年轻人作为动词使用了。

什么意思?

Adulting (v): to do grown up things and hold responsibilities such as, a 9-5 job, a mortgage/rent or anything else that makes one think of grown ups.

Adulting (v): 长大成人、担负起成年人的责任。比如有稳定的工作、自己付房贷、房租等等。

怎么用?

Adulting is so hard! I miss my college days: 做成年人好幸苦啊!真怀念大学的日子。

#2.Sorry not sorry

这个说法我们说sorry的节目中介绍过。

是美国年轻人在日常生活和社交媒体上特别爱用的说法!

什么意思?

Fake apologies are part of the ethos when you are a Millennial. Even when you are saying sorry, you are not actually sorry.

无需理由、不需道歉是美国年轻人的生活态度。就算嘴上说sorry, 心里根本不是这么想的。

怎么用?

什么意思?

JOMO: joy of missing out, 享受错过的乐趣。

前几年的热词是FOMO (fear of missing out)：怕错过潮流。不过FOMO已经过时了。现在要JOMO, 做自己、不跟风。

什么意思?

Losing interest, losing patience, at a loss for words, or pretty annoyed about something: 提不起兴趣、失去耐心、无语、厌烦

怎么用?

这句短语不是完整的句子。但这就是重点，因为你已经无语了。

V: very

这个很简单，就是very非常的意思。

怎么用?

发短信、发消息的时候常用。

怎么用?
