1. make one's head swim 〔spin〕 ** 使晕眩；使困惑

例 I'm tired of always having to worry about how we're going to make ends meet . It's all we ever do—worry about having enough money to survive. I want to be rich. I want to have so much money that when I look at our bank account the figures make my head swim!
