1. run off at the mouth *** 夸夸其谈,信口开河

例 Leroy! Come over here! What's this I hear about you running off at the mouth about a big shipment of guns coming from South America? You want me to cut your goddamn tongue out? You keep your big mouth shut or I'll cut your damn head off. Do I make myself clear? Now get the hell out of here.

2. run off with sb. or sth. *** 偷走,绑架;与某人一起私奔
