If a goal is worthy, then any means taken to attain it are justifiable.

Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the statement and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should consider ways in which the statement might or might not hold true and explain how these considerations shape your position.

五问：

（1）一般我们在评判一种手段是否正当的时候，依据的标准有哪些？达到目标当然是评判的标准之一，但我们是否忽略了其他可能的标准？你能罗列一两个吗？并请说说这些标准会如何影响我们的评判过程？例如：道德和法律。如果为了达到目标而不择手段，违背社会道德和法律制度，这些手段也是正当的吗？

（2）你能否举出这样一个例子：目标是好的，但是由于达成目标的手段不正当而受人非议？例如：举债做慈善的黄某和妻子为了救助农民工子女和农民子弟学校，欠下了上百万的债务，虽然倾尽所有去帮助别人，却对家人十分无情和吝啬，不给家里一分钱，很久不回去看望自己的父母，甚至还要向父母要车票钱。

（3）反之，你是否还能想出另外一个例子：目标是值得为之努力的，尽管采取了不那么光彩的手段，却得到了人们的认可？说说这两个例子之间的差异在哪里？譬如，有些记者为了报道一些“黑心”作坊或者拆穿街上的小广告上的骗局，假装合作骗取对方的信任。这两个例子，同样是为了实现正当的目标而采取了不正当的手段，但一个遭人非议，一个得到认可，原因在于前者侵犯了人的权利。

（4）“目标”和“达成目标的手段”真的能简单地一分为二吗？一个用糟糕的方式达成的目标是可以被接受的吗？

（5）如果人人都持有原命题的观点，会有什么样的结果？这种结果是好还是坏？如果每个人都为了达到目标而不择手段，世界会是怎样的？我们在追求目标的同时，应该兼顾哪些方面？
