HANNOVER, Germany - Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and German Chancellor Angela Merkel jointly opened the Hannover trade fair here Sunday.（2012.4.22）
德国，汉诺威--中国总理温家宝与德国总理安吉拉•默克尔于周日（2012.4.22）共同为汉诺威贸易博览会开幕。

In a speech delivered at the opening ceremony, Wen said China and Germany, two of the most important manufacturing countries in the world, are working closely to promote dialogue and cooperation of the global industries, and this will surely play a more important role in advancing global industrial innovation and development.
温家宝总理在开幕式演讲中说道，中国和德国这两个世界上最重要的制造业大国紧密合作协同推动全球工业界对话与合作，必将对世界工业的创新与发展发挥更加重要的作用。

China is the official partner country of this year's Hannover trade fair, the largest industrial expo in the world.
中国是今年汉诺威博览会的正式合作伙伴国，而汉诺威博览会是世界上最大的工业博览会。

Over 500 Chinese companies attended the fair, showcasing their innovative products or technologies in new energy, electric vehicles and intelligent manufacturing.
超过500家中国企业参加了这次博览会，展示了他们在新能源，电动汽车和智能化制造领域的创新型产品和工艺。

Wen said in his speech that the People's Republic of China has achieved tremendous progress in industrialization since its founding,especially after the introduction of the reform and opening-up policy in the late 1970s.
温家宝总理在演讲中说道，新中国成立，特别是1970年后期实行改革开放和对外开放政策以来，工业化进展取得了举世瞩目的成就。

China would continue its market-oriented reforms, remain open to the outside world, promote scientific and technological innovation, and promote industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization in a coordinated way, he said.
他说，中国将继续以市场为导向，保持对外开放，促进科学技术创新，协调推进工业化，城市化和农业现代化。

Products made in China are generally still at the mid-low end of the global industrial chain, and have a long way to go to catch up with the advanced levels, said the Chinese leader.
温家宝总理说，“中国制造”总体上还处在国际产业链的中低端，要达到先进水平，还有很长的路要走。

China will continue to build an innovation-driven economy, accelerate the shift of growth model and economic restructuring, and endeavor to achieve a transition from "made in China" to "created by China."
中国将继续打造创新型经济，加快转变经济发展模式和经济结构调整并努力从“中国制造”向“中国创造”转变。

China will embark on a new path of industrialization, which features high technology, good economic returns, low consumption of resources, low pollution and full exploitation of human resources, Wen said.
温家宝总理说，中国将踏上以科技含量高，经济效益好，资源消耗低，环境污染少，人力资源充分利用为特色的新的工业化征程。

The international financial crisis has brought huge impacts as well as new opportunities for global industrial development, he said, adding that it is an important mission for the world to overcome the global financial crisis.

他说，国际金融危机为全球工业化发展造成了巨大的影响，也带来了新的机遇。战胜这场全球性的金融危机是全世界的重大使命。

Wen put forward a three-point proposal in this regard.
温家宝就此提出了三点建议。

First, he asked to put more resources to spur the development of the real economy, and create an environment conducive to job creation and the development of the real economy.
第一，他提出将更多的资源投向实体经济，促进实体经济发展并营造更加有助于扩大就业和发展实体经济的环境。

Second, he urged efforts to vigorously push for innovation-based growth of the global economy.
第二，他建议大力推动全球经济的创新型增长。

Third, he asked for openness and cooperation. Wen said the world's economies should reject all forms of protectionism, move faster to improve global economic governance and make it fairer and more equitable.
第三，他建议大力推进开放和合作。温家宝说世界经济应该反对各种形式的保护主义，加快发展以提升全球经济管理并使之朝着更加公平公正的方向发展。

"We should work together to meet global challenges and make the world a better place for us all," he told the audience.

温家宝总理对广大与会者说“我们应该通力合作以面对全球挑战并使世界成为我们所有人更好的家园。”

China's industrialization will continue to advance rapidly for a long time to come, creating huge development potentials and business opportunities for both Chinese and foreign companies, the Chinese premier said.
温家宝总理说，中国工业化在相当长的时期内将继续快速发展，并为中国和外国公司创造巨大的发展潜力和商业机会。

He reiterated that China will "remain unchanged in its commitment to the basic state policy of opening-up."
温总理重申中国将坚持对外开放的基本国策决不会改变。

"We sincerely welcome foreign companies to actively participate in China's reform and opening-up endeavor and share both the opportunities and fruit of China's prosperity and progress," he said.
