英国军情五处公开招募实习生

For many students, work experience involves little more than making tea, photocopying and answering telephones.

MI5, the UK's domestic intelligence agency, has started to offer 11-week paid internships at its London headquarters.

英国国内情报机构军情五处近日开始为其伦敦总部招募带薪实习生，实习时间为11周。

The scheme is open to undergraduate students in the penultimate year of science, technology, engineering or mathematics degrees. Successful candidates will be paid about 485 pounds a week.

这一计划面向科学、技术、工程或数学专业的大三本科生。应聘成功者的周薪约为485英镑(约合4352元人民币)。

According to MI5, interns will rotate through four "technical" areas of the agency, where IT, coding and data analysis skills are required.

The agency says its most sought-after placements are likely to be in "covert technical operations" -- hacking terrorists' electronic equipment.

"This is a new initiative and we're investing in our future," MI5 says on its website. "Your work could make a direct impact on how we protect national security, and those who impress will be offered a permanent role upon graduation."
