2021年全国安全生产事故总量下降9%

China saw fewer workplace accidents and related deaths last year as the government stepped up efforts to ensure workplace safety, official data showed. In 2021, the number of workplace accidents in the country dropped 9% year on year, with the death toll dropping 4 percent, said the Ministry of Emergency Management, adding that no extraordinarily serious accident took place last year.

应急管理部发布的数据显示，2021年全国加大力度确保安全生产，与2020年相比，各类生产安全事故总数与死亡人数分别下降9%、4%。全年未发生特别重大事故。

A new amendment to the country's Law on Workplace Safety went into force in September last year, which stipulates heavier penalties for workplace safety violations and adds provisions concerning the new situation of workplace safety in emerging industries, including the platform economy.
去年9月，新修订的安全生产法开始施行，加大对安全生产违法行为的惩处力度。此外，针对平台经济等新兴行业出现的安全生产新情况，新修改的安全生产法也增加了相关规定。
