珠江流域再次发生流域性较大洪水

The Ministry of Water Resources said Sunday that major flooding has occurred in South China's Pearl River basin due to heavy rainfall.

水利部6月19日发布汛情通报，受近期降雨影响，珠江流域再次发生流域性较大洪水。

The ministry has urged relevant authorities to closely monitor the flood situation and stepped up flood-control efforts in rain-battered reservoirs, small and medium rivers and mountainous areas.
水利部当日举行防汛会商会议，要求相关水利部门密切监视汛情，强化强降雨区水库安全度汛、中小河流洪水和山洪灾害防御。

Five work groups have been dispatched to South China's Guangdong province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, where the emergency response is being maintained at Level-III.
目前，水利部维持广东、广西2省区洪水防御Ⅲ级应急响应，派出了5个工作组在广东、广西防御一线指导。
