英语幽默笑话：剩女的要求

　　　Bertha was a very pretty girl. Quite a lot of young men wanted to marry her, but she was not satisfied with any of them.

　　One day, one of the young men came to visit her and asked her to become his wife. She answered, "No, John, I won't marry you. I want to marry a man who is famous, who can play music、sing and dance very well, who can tell interesting stories, who does not smoke or drink , who stays at home in the evenings and who stops talking when I'm tired of listening."

　　The young man got up, took his coat and went to the door, but before he left the house, he turned and said to Bertha, "It isn't a man you're looking for. It's a television set."

　　贝蒂是个非常漂亮的女人，很多男人都希望和她结婚，但她对谁都不满意。

　　一天，一个男人来拜访她并向她求婚。她回答道：“不，约翰，我不会答应你。我想嫁一个有名、善歌善舞的人。他还要会将有趣的故事，不抽烟不喝酒。晚上会一直在家，当我不想听他说话时，他会闭嘴。”

　　年轻人起身拿起大衣走向大门，但他离开前，转向贝蒂说：“你想找的并不是一个男人。是一台电视机。”
