“To be pleased with one’s limits is a wretched state.” That means we should not be content with the status quo but keep going beyond ourselves. 1

I completely agree with the point that we should transcend ourselves. 2 Firstly 3 , life affords no higher pleasure than that of surmounting difficulties, which encourages us to pass from one step of success to another, form new hopes and see them realized.
