Perseverance refers to the deter-mination to fulfill certain aims despite difficulties. Without perseverance, it is hard to overcome difficulties. The inventor of the electric bulb, one of the most famous scientists in the world, Thomas Edison, is a good case in point. In a word, perseverance plays a vital role in a successful life.
