这个译文隐含的意思是“他和他弟弟一样聪明”，这就错了。有人会问：His brother is wiser than he.的意思是“他弟弟比他聪明”，那么其否定式当然表示相反的意思“他弟弟不比他更聪明”，这样译怎么还会错呢？
