孔子

Confucius

Confucius (551 B.C.~479 B.C.), a great educator, thinker and statesman in the history of China, was the founder of Confucianism. It is said that Confucius had 3,000 disciples, 72 out of whom were distinguished ones, and he once led part of them to tour around various states. His views on teaching and dialogues with his students were collected and compiled into the book The Analects of Confucius , which has been read through all ages with a far-reaching impact.
