1. Lack of sleep. Too little sleep has proven to be detrimental for your health. Research links it to high blood pressure, diabetes, weight gain, and looking tired and older. 
睡眠不足。研究显示,睡眠不足危害身体健康,可能导致高血压、糖尿病、肥胖,而且会让你看起来疲惫、显老。


2. A soft spot for sweets. A sugar-packed diet can take its toll on your waistline, and experts also now believe it can make your skin dull and wrinkled.

钟情于甜食。吃甜食较多不仅让你腰部累积赘肉,而且据专家称还会导致皮肤暗沉,皱纹增多。


3. Stress. Over time, constant anxiety caused from work or personal problems can delay healing, harden your arteries, and shrink areas of your brain involved in learning, memory, and controlling your mood — talk about feeling older! 
压力过大。如果长时间感觉生活、工作压力太大,会有损身体愈合功能,导致动脉硬化,并可能导致用于学习、记忆及调控心情的大脑区域萎缩,最终不免感慨——我变老了!


4. Only exercising when trying to lose weight. Research shows that vigorous exercisers have longer telomeres — cellular biomarkers that shorten as we age — compared with healthy adults who rarely work out. 
单纯为了减肥而锻炼。研究显示,端粒是人体衰老的标志物,通常会随着年龄增长而缩短。与很少锻炼的健康人士比较,积极锻炼的人端粒更长。

 
5. Blasting your iPod. Hearing loss develops slowly, the result of prolonged exposure to thousands of high-decibel insults to the ear, many of which come from exposure to everyday gadgets, like iPods or hair dryers.
大声听iPod。长期暴露在日常生活小物件如iPod或吹风机发出的高分贝音量下,日积月累,听力会逐步下降。


6. Not eating fruits and vegetables every day. Antioxidants contained in fruits and vegetables remain active for only a few hours and need to be continually replenished, so don't think you're set for the week after eating a big salad for lunch on Monday.
很少吃果蔬。果蔬所含的抗氧化剂活性只能保持几个小时,需要不断补充,因此千万别觉得周一午餐吃了一大盘沙拉,这周就不需要吃了。
