一、There be的肯定结构

There be的肯定结构中be动词的单复数必须依主语的变化而变化，主语为单数或不可数名词时用is，主语为复数时用are。

（一）There is+单数名词+地点状语（注：There is=There's）

There's a bed in the bedroom.卧室里有一张床。

There's a pair of socks on the bed.床上有一双袜子。

（一双袜子作为单数）

（二）There are+复数名词+地点状语

There are two chairs beside the table.桌子旁边有两把椅子。

（注：There are一般不缩写）

There are two glasses of juice on the table.桌子上有两杯果汁。

（两杯果汁作为复数）

（三）There is+不可数名词+地点状语

There's a lot of rain in the south of China.中国南部雨水充足。

There's some juice in the bottle.杯子里有一些果汁。

（四）There be 之后如有几个并列主语时，用is或用are取决于第一个主语是单数还是复数，单数用is，复数用are

There is a lamp （第一主语），two armchairs and three pictures in the room.

房间里有一盏灯，两把扶手椅和三张图片。

There are two armchairs （第一主语），a lamp and three pictures in the room.

房间里有两把扶手椅，一盏灯和三张图片。
