President Xi Jinping attended a video summit with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Beijing on Friday. 4月15-16日，中美两国代表在上海举行会谈，并就应对气候危机发布联合声明。声明指出，中美致力于相互合作并与其他国家一道解决气候危机，按其严峻性、紧迫性所要求加以应对。
Envoys from China and the United States have issued a joint statement addressing the climate crisis after talks from Thursday to Friday in Shanghai. China and the United States are committed to cooperating with each other and with other countries to tackle the climate crisis, which must be addressed with the seriousness and urgency that it demands, according to the statement.
