　　语言点1 have been driven away... by...，此句为典型的现在完成时的被动语态。

　　语言点1 “one of +范围，，表示“……中的一个”：He is one of the gangsters. 他是歹徒之一。

　　语言点2 the few people其中为数不多的人

　　Few people like snakes and snails. 很少有人喜欢蛇和蜗牛。

　　语言点3 left是leave(剩下，留下)的过去式及过去分词形式，在此为过去分词作后置定语。
