新青年旅社

Kathy and Evan check into the Copenhagen Hostel.

艾凡在哥本哈根的青年旅社登记住房。

E:Excuse me, miss. I have a reservation here.

艾凡：小姐，打扰一下。我预订了你们旅社的房间。

M:What's the last name, please?

柜台：请教贵姓?

E:Whiting, Evan Whiting.

艾凡：怀汀，艾凡‧怀汀。

M:Just a moment. Ah, yes, Mr. Whiting. We have a reservation for you and Miss Kathy Mannings for...oh!...18 days.

柜台：请稍等一下。嗯，没错，怀汀先生。我们有你和一名叫凯西‧曼宁斯小姐预订的房间……哦!……预订了十八天。

E:Are you surprised?

艾凡：你很讶异吗?

M:Well, usually people don't stay here that long. Of course, you're welcome to stay as long as you like. We have a couple of rooms available right now. I can show them to you. You can choose the one you prefer.

E:That sounds great. Uh, do you take traveler's checks here?

M:I'm sorry, but we don't. But there's a bank just down the street where you can cash them. They're open another two hours. Why not choose your room and unpack? Then you can go to the bank.
