The 2022 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit kicked off Wednesday in the river town of Wuzhen in east China's Zhejiang Province. The three-day event is the first annual meeting of the World Internet Conference, a Beijing-headquartered international organization inaugurated in July.

Accelerated efforts should be made to build a community with a shared future in cyberspace, contributing wisdom and strength to world peace and development as well as to the progress of human civilization.
