已经被使用过，现在人们临时用它来记事儿的纸。也可以叫作Scrap paper。很多人认为这两个词是可以相互替换的，然而，有些人认为scrap paper是指人们已经使用过的纸张，而scratch paper是指用于手写笔记的纸张。

scrap /skræp/ n. 残余物;碎片;打架;少量

Scratch的意思和handwriting字迹、笔迹一样。Scrap则是一个用来描述被丢弃的东西的词。

A: Tell me the new Wi-Fi password before you go.

你走之前把新的无线密码告诉我。

B: It is just a long series of random characters.

它只是一长串随机字符。

A: Can you write it down for me? I’ll bring you a clean sheet of paper.
