On a quarterly basis, GDP grew by 4.5% in the first quarter, 6.3% in the second quarter and 4.9% in the third quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, GDP grew 1.3% in the third quarter.

分季度看，一季度GDP同比增长4.5%，二季度增长6.3%，三季度增长4.9%。从环比看，三季度GDP增长1.3%。

China's value-added industrial output went up 4 percent year on year in the first three quarters.

今年前三季度，中国工业增加值同比增长4%。

The country's retail sales of consumer goods went up 6.8 percent year on year.

社会消费品零售总额同比增长6.8%。
