4. Microwave

A blonde went to the appliance store sale and found a bargain2. "I would like to buy this TV." she told the salesman.

Sorry, we don't sell to blondes. he replied.

She hurried home and dyed3 her hair, then came back and again told the salesman. "I would like to buy this TV." "Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

Damn4, he recognized me. she thought.

And the TV set was really a good deal. So she went for a complete disguise5 this time, haircut and new color, new outfit6, big sunglasses, then waited a few days before she again approached7 the salesman. "I would like to buy this TV." "Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

Frustrated8, she exclaimed, "How do you know I'm a blonde?"

Because, he replied, "that's a microwave."

微波炉

一个金发女郎走进了家电销售店，并且找到了一件便宜货。“这台电视我要了。”她告诉销售员。

“对不起，我们不卖给金发女郎。”销售员回答说。

她赶忙回家，把头发染上色，又回到店中告诉销售员：“这台电视我要了。”“对不起，我们不卖给金发女郎。”销售员回答说。

“糟糕，他认出我了。”她想。

这台电视实在是太便宜了。于是这一次她去做了全身伪装：剪了头发，又重新染了色，穿上新外套，戴上大墨镜。然后又等了几天才再次光临那家商店。她再次走向销售员：“这台电视我要了。”“对不起，我们不卖货给金发女郎。”销售员回答说。

灰心丧气的金发女郎抱怨说：“你怎么知道我是金发女郎的？”

“因为那是一台微波炉。”他回答说。
