The Grammy award–winning singer called out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for never inducting her despite the fact that she’s one of only two artists to have at least one No. 1 single in each of the past seven decades.

“Two of us have,” Cher said while visiting The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday, before revealing that she and the Rolling Stones share that record. Still, she added, “It took four of them to be one of me.”

But even with all of her chart success, the music institution has failed to recognize her. “I’m not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!” Cher exclaimed as host Kelly Clarkson and the crowd voiced their collective shock over the news.

“You know what?" she continued. "I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars.”

When Clarkson began to ask if she’d ever change her mind on the subject, Cher instantly shut down that line of thinking. “I’m never gonna change my mind,” she said. “I mean, they can just you-know-what themselves.”

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has come under fire in recent years. Courtney Love, for one, has criticized the small number of female artists who have been inducted. This year’s ceremony honored three women — Missy Elliott, Sheryl Crow, and Kate Bush — while the institution celebrated Chaka Khan with a Musical Excellence Award.

And while Cher was speaking her truth on the talk show, she had a final point to make. “Also, can I just say one other thing?” she asked. “I changed music forever with ‘Believe.’”
