好好刷牙,防痴呆!

A new study from Norway shows that keeping your teeth brushed properly and maintaining oral hygiene can not only prevent tooth decay, help maintain good chewing and gastrointestinal function, but also prevent the development of dementia.

一项新的挪威研究表明,坚持正确刷牙和保持口腔卫生不仅可以防止蛀牙,有助于保持良好的咀嚼和胃肠功能,还可以预防老年痴呆症。

Gingivitis (gingivitis) is a common oral disease in the elderly and is caused by porphyromonas gingivalis.

牙龈炎是老年人常见的口腔疾病,主要由牙龈卟啉单胞菌引起。

Peter medel and his team, from the research laboratory of the department of clinical sciences at the university of bergen in Norway, demonstrated that porphyromonas gingivalis can be transferred from the mouth to the brain.

挪威卑尔根大学临床科学系研究实验室的彼得·梅代尔及其团队,通过实验证实牙龈卟啉单胞菌可从口腔转移到大脑。

Harmful enzymes produced by porphyromonas gingivalis damage nerve cells in the brain, causing memory loss in the elderly and eventually leading to anorexia.

牙龈卟啉单胞菌产生的有害酶会破坏大脑中的神经细胞,引起老人记忆力丧失,最终导致老痴。

The team observed and detected the harmful enzyme in 96 percent of 53 patients.

研究团队对53名老痴患者进行观察检测,在96%的患者体内发现了这种有害酶。

Dr. Medale cautions that porphyromonas gingivalis does not cause aging alone, but the presence of the bacteria can greatly increase the risk and cause the disease to develop more quickly.

梅代尔提醒老年朋友,牙龈卟啉单胞菌并不会单独引起老痴,但这种细菌的存在会大大增加患病风险,而且还会导致疾病更快发展。

"Brush your teeth well and floss," he advises.

"The primary purpose of brushing is to remove plaque, which forms a stable attachment to the surface of the tooth.

“刷牙最主要的目的是祛除牙菌斑,因为只有牙菌斑才能在牙齿表面形成稳定的附着。

Dental calculus, tartar these unclean substances can only stay on the surface of the tooth through the dental plaque, and then cause tooth inflammation, bleeding and even loose tooth loss.

牙结石、牙垢这些不洁的物质只能通过牙菌斑才能停留在牙齿表面,继而造成牙齿发炎、出血甚至松动脱落。

About 30 minutes to 60 minutes after the meal, dental plaque can form a stable adhesion on the tooth surface, therefore, it is recommended to brush within 15 minutes to 30 minutes after the meal the best effect, can effectively prevent the formation of dental plaque, there will be no calculus, tartar.

餐后大概30分钟-60分钟,牙菌斑就能在牙齿表面形成稳定附着,因此,建议餐后15分钟-30分钟内刷牙效果最佳,能有效预防牙菌斑的形成,也就不会有牙结石、牙垢的产生。

Most people life is only a pair of permanent teeth, dental caries is slowly, the teeth can't be repair regeneration after injury, so should be at an early age to develop good habits of brushing tooth right, and should always observe the teeth (especially the back a few teeth caries) easily caries turning black, and so on and so forth, if you have to handle in time, or caries slowly will be worse, even need fillings and tooth extraction.

大部分人一生只有一副恒牙,龋齿是慢慢发生的,而牙齿损伤后是不能自我修复再生的,因此应该从小就养成正确良好的刷牙护牙习惯,并且应时常观察牙齿(尤其是后面几颗大牙容易龋齿)是否有龋齿变黑等情况,若有要及时处理,否则龋齿慢慢会严重化,甚至需要补牙和拔牙。
