Part of the roof at AZ Alkmaar’s stadium collapsed Saturday as a result of strong winds. AZ Alkmaar, which plays in the top Dutch soccer league Eredivisie, was not playing at the time and there were no injuries at the AFAS Stadium.

“This surprised us all. We are very shocked but especially happy that there was no human suffering,” AZ Alkmaar’s general manager Robert Eenhoorn, said, according to BBC.

Eenhoorn was a former baseball infielder for the Yankees during 1994 and ’95.

He said the club will investigate the collapse. The team played on the road Sunday, but it is scheduled to host FC Mariupol in a Europa League match on Thursday and then FC Groningen in a league match next Sunday.

“No matches will be played in the stadium if the situation is not safe,” Eenhoorn said, per BBC. “As soon as more is clear about our upcoming duels, we will report that as soon as possible.”
